Pom-Pom Spiral Crochet Rug Pattern

Materials:

• Bulky pom-pom yarn in blue, pink, and yellow
• Crochet hook size N (10 mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:

Exact gauge is not critical for this project, but roughly 10 sts and 12 rows = 4 inches in pattern.

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 sc in same st)

Instructions:

1. Start with a magic circle.
   • Round 1: Work 6 sc into the magic circle. Tighten. Sl st to first sc to join. (6 sts)
2. Round 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around. Sl st to first sc to join. (12 sts)
3. Round 3: Ch 1, *sc in next st, inc in next st* repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first sc to join. (18 sts)
4. Round 4: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st* repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first sc to join. (24 sts)
5. Continue increasing following the established pattern:
