Pom-Pom Spiral Crochet Rug

Pom-Pom Spiral Crochet Rug Pattern
Materials:
- Bulky pom-pom yarn in blue, pink, and yellow
- Crochet hook size N (10 mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Gauge:
Exact gauge is not critical for this project, but roughly 10 sts and 12 rows = 4 inches in pattern.
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- sl st: slip stitch
- sc: single crochet
- inc: increase (2 sc in same st)
Instructions:
- Start with a magic circle.
- Round 1: Work 6 sc into the magic circle. Tighten. Sl st to first sc to join. (6 sts)
- Round 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each st around. Sl st to first sc to join. (12 sts)
- Round 3: Ch 1, *sc in next st, inc in next st* repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first sc to join. (18 sts)
- Round 4: Ch 1, *sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st* repeat from * to * around. Sl st to first sc to join. (24 sts)
- Continue increasing following the established pattern:
- Round 5: Ch 1, *sc in next 3 sts, inc in next st* around. Sl st to join. (30 sts)
- Round 6: Ch 1, *sc in next 4 sts, inc in next st* around. Sl st to join. (36 sts)
- Round 7: Ch 1, *sc in next 5 sts, inc in next st* around. Sl st to join. (42 sts)
- Repeat this pattern, adding one more sc before each increase per round, until the rug reaches your desired size.
- Finish the rug:
- Once satisfied with the size, fasten off and weave in ends using the tapestry needle.
