Materials

Instructions

Base Circle

5. Round 4: Ch 3, (dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (48 dc total)
6. Round 5: Ch 3, (dc in next 3 st, 2 dc in next st) repeat around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (60 dc total)
7. Fasten off and weave in ends. This will be the top base of the globe.

Lace Work

1. Starting from the base, attach your thread to the same point where you fastened off the base.
2. Round 1: Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc + ch 1), *(dc in next st, ch 1)* repeat around. Join with sl st to top of ch 4.
3. Round 2: Ch 3, *(3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1)* repeat around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
4. Continue this lace pattern until the globe reaches 3 inches in height.

Finishing

1. To create a hanging loop, ch 12, sl st to the top of your globe to attach.
