Crochet Elegant Vintage Lace Choker Pattern

Materials:

  • Fingering weight cotton yarn (approx. 50 yards)

  • Scissors

  • Sewing clasp or chain for closure

Abbreviations:

  • ch - chain
  • sc - single crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • sp - space
  • ( ) - repeat instructions within

Instructions:

Base Chain: ch 70 (or adjust for desired length).

Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, make 1 dc. *ch 3, skip 2 ch, 1 dc in the next ch; repeat from * until the end of the row. Turn.

Row 2: ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2), 1 dc in the next ch 3 space, *ch 2, 1 dc in the next ch 3 space; repeat from * until the end. Turn.

Row 3: ch 3, 1 dc in the first ch 2 space, *ch 3, skip next dc, 1 dc in the next ch 2 space; repeat from * until finished. Turn.

Row 4: ch 1, 1 sc in each dc across, creating a solid foundation row. Turn.

Row 5: ch 3, 3 dc in the first sc, *ch 3, skip 2 sc, 4 dc in the next sc; repeat from * until end of row. Join with sl st to the top of the ch 3.

Finishing:

  • Cut the yarn and weave in ends.
