Instructions:

Bow Halves (Make 2)

1. With MC, ch 20.

3. Row 2: ch 2, dc in first st, *sc in next st, dc in next st; rep from * across to last st, sc in last st (28 sts).
4. Row 3: ch 1, sc in each st across (28 sc).
5. Row 4: ch 2, dc in first st, *sc in next st, dc in next st; rep from * across to last st, sc in last st (28 sts).
6. Repeat Rows 3 and 4 until you have 10 rows total.
7. To shape the bow, fold the rectangle in half widthwise and sew the sides together. 
8. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Center Band

1. With CC, ch 8.
2. Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across (7 sc).
3. Rows 2-3: ch 1, sc in each st across (7 sc).
4. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail.
5. Fold the band around the center of the bow and sew it in place, securing the bow shape.

Assembly:

1. Position the two bow halves side by side, slightly overlapping.
2. Use the yarn tail from the center band to sew through the middle of the bow, securing the halves together.
3. Weave in all loose ends with a tapestry needle.
4. If desired, attach your bow tie clip or strap for wearing.
