Instructions:

Body:

1. Start with a foundation chain of 86 (92, 98, 104, 110) ch. 2. Row 1: In the 4th ch from hook, dc, then *ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * to end; turn. 3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), *tr in sp between dc from previous row, ch 2; repeat from * to end; turn. 4. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each tr and ch sp; turn. 5. Repeat Rows 2-3 until the piece measures approximately 22 inches (or desired length).

Armholes:

1. When reaching the desired length, work in a straight line for 8 (8, 10, 10, 12) rows for armholes, then split for front and back. 2. For the front, continue for another 10 rows, then rejoin yarn for the back side to mirror. 3. Work shoulder seam with a slip stitch or seam as preferred (approx. 10 stitches wide).

Finishing:

1. Weave in all ends securely. 2. Block to measurements if necessary for lace pattern to open up.

Optional: Edging
