Materials Needed:

Finished Size: Approximately 60" x 45" when completed

Pattern Notes:

• This blanket is made from individual flower squares joined together.
• Each square is approximately 12" x 12".

Flower Square Pattern (make 20 squares):

1. Start with a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), 15 double crochet into the ring. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the chain 3. (16 double crochet)
3. Round 2: Chain 3, double crochet in the same stitch, *chain 1, two double crochet in the next stitch*. Repeat around. Join with a slip stitch. (16 clusters)
4. Round 3: Chain 3, *double crochet in the chain space, chain 2*. Repeat around. Join with a slip stitch.
5. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Joining Squares:

1. Lay out your squares in a 4x5 grid.
2. Using your tapestry needle, whip stitch or slip stitch the squares together along edges, alternating colors if desired.

Border:

1. With the blanket turned right side up, attach yarn in any corner.
2. Chain 1, single crochet evenly along the edge, placing 3 single crochet in each corner for a smooth finish.
