Pattern Instructions:

  1. Make a foundation chain of 85 stitches (or any multiple of 20 for larger sizes).
  2. Row 1: In the 4th chain from the hook, work 1 dc. Continue to dc in each chain across. Turn.
  3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in next stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 5 dc in next stitch; repeat from * across, end with 1 dc in last stitch. Turn.
  4. Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, *skip 2 stitches, 5 dc in next stitch; repeat from * across, end with 1 dc in last stitch. Turn.

  6. For the next rows, continue the pattern until you reach your desired length, changing colors every 4 rows to create a multi-colored effect.
  7. To finish, sl st around the entire blanket to create a border. Tie off and weave in all ends.

Tips:

  • Feel free to mix and match your colors for a more personalized look!
  • For a larger blanket, simply add more chains to the foundation and continue the pattern as directed.
