Abbreviations:

  • ch - chain
  • sc - single crochet
  • dc - double crochet
  • sl st - slip stitch

Pattern Instructions:

Foundation Row:

Ch 36.

Row 1:

1 dc in the 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of the next 11 ch, *change to color B,* 1 dc in each of the next 12 ch, *change to color C,* 1 dc in each of the next 11 ch. Turn.

Row 2:

Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 1 dc in the next 11 dc, *change to A,* 1 dc in each of the next 12 dc, *change to B,* 1 dc in each of the next 11 dc. Turn.

Repeat Rows 1-2:

Continue repeating Rows 1-2 until your piece measures approximately 10 inches in length or desired size. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Finishing:

Optionally, border your dishcloth with a round of sc or crab stitch to add a polished finish.
