Crochet Textured Wavy Lace Throw Blanket

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn (approximately 1200 yards)
  • 6.0 mm (J) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Gauge:

14 stitches and 8 rows = 4 inches in double crochet.

Finished Size:

Approximately 50 inches wide by 60 inches long.

Stitch Abbreviations:

  • ch = chain
  • dc = double crochet
  • tr = treble crochet
  • sk = skip
  • sp = space

Pattern:

Foundation Row:

Ch 150 (or any multiple of 12 + 2 for turning chains).

Row 1:

Dc in the 4th ch from hook, *ch 2, sk 2 chs, dc in next ch; repeat from * across, ch 2, turn.

Row 2:

Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *tr in the first ch-2 sp, ch 2, sk next dc; repeat from * across, dc in top of turning ch, turn.

Row 3:

Ch 2, *dc in the ch-2 sp, ch 2, sk next tr; repeat from * across, dc in last st, turn.

Row 4:

Ch 3, *tr in the first ch-2 sp, ch 2, sk next dc; repeat from * across, dc in top of turning ch, turn.

Repeat Rows 2-4:

Continue repeating Rows 2-4 until the blanket measures approximately 60 inches in length or desired size.

Border:

Attach yarn to any corner. Ch 1, sc around the entire blanket, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to the first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.

Blocking:

To enhance the wave pattern, lightly block your completed blanket.
