Crochet Textured Twisted Stitch Washcloth

Materials:

• 100 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn
• Crochet hook size I (5.5mm)
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Gauge: Not crucial for this project, but aim for a square about 8" x 8".

Pattern Instructions:

1. Start with a foundation chain of 31 stitches (an odd number).
2. Row 1: Single crochet (sc) in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. (30 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn. *Front post double crochet (fpdc) in next stitch, back post double crochet (bpdc) in next stitch; repeat from * across. End with a sc in the last stitch.
4. Row 3: Ch 1, turn. *Fpdc in the next stitch, bpdc in the next stitch; repeat from * across, ending with a sc in the last stitch.
5. Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the piece measures around 8.5" x 8.5" or your desired length.
6. Last row: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each stitch across.
7. Fasten off and weave in ends.
