Crochet Simple Neutral Textured Tote Bag Free Pattern

Materials:

• Neutral, undyed yarn - worsted weight, approx. 400 yards
• Crochet Hook - Size H/5.0 mm
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Pattern:

Base:

1. Ch 33.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
3. Rows 2-50: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.

Body:

1. Round 1: Work 2 sc in the first st, sc across the long edge, work 3 sc in the corner, sc across the short edge, 3 sc in the corner, sc across the long edge, 3 sc in corner, sc across the short edge, ending with 1 more sc in the first corner. Join with a sl st to first sc.
2. Rounds 2-30: Ch 1, sc in the back loop only around. Join with sl st to first sc.

Handles (make 2):

1. Ch 80.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Finishing:

1. Sew handles to the inside edge of the tote bag's top using the yarn needle.
2. Weave in all ends.
