Crochet Elegant Textured Bow Headband Free Pattern

Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in brown
- 5.5mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- fpdc – front post double crochet
- bpdc – back post double crochet
- sl st – slip stitch
- st(s) – stitch(es)
Headband Pattern:
- Ch 72, join with a sl st to form a loop, being careful not to twist the chain.
- Row 1: Ch 2 (does not count as a st here and throughout), dc in each ch around, sl st to first dc to join. (72 sts)
- Row 2: Ch 2, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st; repeat from * around, sl st to first fpdc. (72 sts)
- Row 3-5: Repeat Row 2.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Bow Pattern:
- Ch 24, turn.
- Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. (22 sts)
- Row 2: Ch 2, turn, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st; repeat from * across, ending with a dc in the last st.
- Row 3-5: Repeat Row 2.
- Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.
Center Wrap Pattern:
- Ch 10, turn.
- Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. (8 sts)
- Row 2: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across.
- Row 3-4: Repeat Row 2.
- Fasten off leaving a long tail.
Assembly:
- Fold the bow piece in half and sew edges together to form a circle.
- Place the bow on top of the headband, positioning it in the center.
- Wrap the center wrap around both the bow and the headband, sewing the ends together tightly at the back to secure the bow in place.
- Weave in any remaining ends.
