Instructions:
Foundation Row:
Ch 132 (or any multiple of 12 + 4).
Row 1:
Dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, skip 1 ch, *(dc in next ch, ch 5, skip 2 ch) repeat from * to last 3 ch, dc in last 3 ch.
Row 2:
Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), dc in ch-1 sp, ch 5, *(dc in ch-5 sp, ch 1) repeat from * to last ch-1 sp, dc in ch-1 sp, ch 5, dc in top of beginning ch-3.
Row 3:
Ch 3, dc in ch-1 sp, ch 5, *(dc in ch-5 sp, ch 1) repeat from * to end, finish with dc in top of beginning ch-3.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3:
Continue to repeat Rows 2 and 3 until the blanket measures approximately 60 inches.
Border:
With right side facing, attach yarn at a corner. Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire blanket. Make 3 sc in each corner. Sl st to first sc to join. Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends. Block if necessary to open up the lacework.
