Materials:

• Medium Weight Yarn (in 4 colors)
• Size H (5.0 mm) Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry Needle

Gauge: 12 hexagons = 12 inches in diameter using the specified hook and yarn

Finished Size: Approximately 30" x 36" when joined

Hexagon Motif:

Round 1: In Color A, make a magic ring. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 11 dc into the ring. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (12 dc)

Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st. *2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (24 dc)

Round 3: Ch 3, dc in same st. *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (36 dc)

Round 4: Ch 3, dc in same st. *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join. (48 dc)

Round 5: Ch 1, sc in same st. *1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join and fasten off. 

Assembly:

1. Make 30 hexagon motifs. Feel free to mix colors for a medley effect or keep them uniform.
2. Arrange hexagons in a layout of 6 hexagons wide and 5 hexagons tall.
3. Join hexagons using slip stitch or whip stitch method.

Border:

Round 1: With Color B, sc evenly around the edge of the joined blanket. Join.

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same st. *Ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in next st; repeat from * around. Join.
