Pattern Instructions:
Blanket Size:
Approximately 30" x 36" (76cm x 91cm)
Foundation Row:
Ch 90 (or any multiple of 12 + 6 to adjust size).
Row 1:
In the 3rd ch from the hook, make 2 dc. *Skip 2 ch, (1 sc, 2 dc) in the next ch.* Repeat from * to * until 3 ch remain. Skip 2 ch, sc in the last ch. Turn.
Row 2:
Ch 2. In the first sc, make 2 hdc. *In the next 2 dc, (1 sc, 2 hdc).* Repeat from * to * until the last sc. Make 1 sc in the last sc. Turn.
Row 3:
Ch 3. In the first sc, make 1 dc. *In the next 2 hdc, (1 sc, 2 dc).* Repeat from * to * until the last sc. Make 1 sc in the last sc. Turn.
Row 4:
Switch color yarn here. Ch 1, sc in the first dc. *In the next 2 dc, (1 hdc, 1 sc).* Repeat from * to * until the last sc. Make 1 sc in the last sc. Turn.
Repeat Rows 1-4
Continue repeating Rows 1-4 until the blanket reaches your desired length, changing colors for each set of 4 rows or as desired.
Border:
With the last color used, sc around the entire blanket, making 3 sc in each corner. Join with a slip stitch to the first sc and fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in all ends using a yarn needle. Optionally, add tassels at the corners for added flair!
