Assembling the Blanket
Arrange hexagons as desired. With black yarn, join hexagons together by slip stitching through the back loops only of each hexagon edge. After assembling, crochet a black edging around the entire blanket for a neat finish:
- Join black yarn in any corner. Ch 1, sc around entire blanket, making (sc, ch 1, sc) in each outer corner. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off and weave in all ends securely.
Finishing Touches
Block your blanket lightly to even out the stitches and define the hexagon shapes. Enjoy the warmth and color your beautiful crochet blanket brings to your space!
