Gauge:
10 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Approximately 36 inches x 36 inches

Pattern Notes:
This pattern is worked in a four-row repeat. Make adjustments for size by adding or subtracting multiple of 8 chains.
Instructions:
Foundation Row:
CH 80.
Row 1:
DC into the 4th CH from the hook, then DC in each CH across. Turn.
Row 2 (Vine Stitch):
CH 3 (counts as first DC), *skip next 2 DC, 5 DC in next DC (V-stitch), skip 2 DC, SL ST in next DC; repeat from * across, ending with a single DC in the last stitch. Turn.
Row 3:
CH 3, DC in each DC and SL ST across. Turn.
Row 4:
CH 3, *V-stitch in the first space of previous row, SL ST in next V-stitch; repeat from * across. Turn.
Repeat Rows 2-4 until the blanket measures approximately 36 inches long, or desired length.
Border:
Round 1:
Switch to a smaller hook. SC around the entire blanket, placing 3 SC in each corner. Join with a SL ST to the first SC.
Round 2:
CH 1, SC in each SC around. Again, place 3 SC in each corner. Join with a SL ST to the first SC.
Finishing:
