Gauge:

10 diamonds = 10 cm (4 inches) in width.

Finished Size:

The blanket measures approximately 120 cm x 150 cm (48 in x 60 in) when completed.

Pattern Instructions:

Diamond Motif (Make 30)

Round 1: With Color A, ch 4 and sl st to form a ring. Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in the ring, ch 2, *3 dc in the ring, ch 2; repeat from * two more times. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. (12 dc, 4 ch-2 spaces)

Round 2: Change to Color B. In each ch-2 space, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc). Join with sl st to top of first cluster. Fasten off.

Round 3: Change to Color C. In each corner space, work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc). In between corners, work 1 dc in each cluster. Join with sl st. Fasten off.

Round 4: Change to Color D. In each ch-2 space, work (3 dc, 2 ch, 3 dc). In between, work 1 dc. Join and fasten off.

Joining the Motifs:

Use Color A to join squares using the whip stitch method or your preferred method of joining.

Border:

With Color A, sc evenly around the entire blanket. Work 3 sc in each corner to maintain shape. Fasten off and weave in ends.
