• 2 Ply Jute Twine Cord - Approximately 25 meters per coaster
• 4 mm Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry Needle

Instructions:

Base:

1. Make a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, work 10 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (10 sts)
3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join with a sl st. (20 sts)
4. Round 3: Ch 1, *(sc in next st, 2 sc in next st); repeat from * around. Join with a sl st. (30 sts)
5. Round 4: Ch 1, *(sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st); repeat from * around. Join with a sl st. (40 sts)
6. Round 5: Ch 1, *(sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st); repeat from * around. Join with a sl st. (50 sts)
7. Round 6: Ch 1, *(sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st); repeat from * around. Join with a sl st. (60 sts)

Scalloped Edging:

7. Round 7: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), 4 dc in the same st, skip next 2 sts, sc in next st, *(5 dc in next st, skip next 2 sts, sc in next st); repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the first ch 3. (20 scallops)
