8 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in knit-look pattern.
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- hdc: half double crochet
- fphdc: front post half double crochet
- bpdc: back post double crochet
Pattern
Foundation Row:
Chain 36 (or any even number to adjust width).
Row 1:
Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and across, turn.
Row 2:
Ch 2, *fphdc in next stitch, bpdc in next stitch; repeat from * across, turn.
Row 3:
Ch 1, hdc in each stitch across, turn.
Row 4-5:
Repeat rows 2 and 3.
Continue Pattern:
Repeat rows 2-3 until scarf measures approximately 70 inches or desired length.
Finishing:
