Materials Needed:
- Yarn Bee Scrub-ology Cotton in Green - 15 yards
- Black Cotton Worsted Yarn - 6 yards
- Grey Cotton Worsted Yarn - 5 yards
- Two black buttons for eyes
- Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- st = stitch
- sl st = slip stitch
- rnd = round
Instructions:
Face:
- With green yarn, ch 14.
- Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and each across, turn. (13 sc)
- Rows 2-10: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn. (13 sc)
Hair:
- Switch to black yarn.
- Row 11: Ch 1, *sc in next st, skip next st, work 3 sc in next st*, repeat from * to * across, turn. (zig-zag hair across row)
Assembly:
- Fold piece in half and sc around the sides and bottom to create a pocket, sl st to fasten off.
- Use the needle to sew black buttons as eyes.
- With black yarn, sew a smile slightly below the eyes.
- Stitch a small 'scar' on the forehead using black yarn.
Bolts (Make 2):
- With grey yarn, create a magic circle.
- Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic circle. (6 sc)
- Rnd 2-4: Sc in each st around. (6 sc)
- Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
- Sew bolts to the sides of the scrubby.
