Crochet Adorable Floral Lollipop Jacket Free Pattern

Materials

  • Worsted weight yarn in pink, dark pink, yellow, and green
  • Crochet hook size G/4.0 mm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Abbreviations

  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch

Pattern

Flower

  1. With yellow yarn, create a magic ring, ch 1, and work 6 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to the first sc. (6 sts)
  2. Switch to pink yarn, ch 2, work 2 hdc in each st around. Join with sl st to the beginning hdc. (12 sts)
  3. *Ch 2, work 3 dc in the next st, ch 2, sl st in the next st; repeat from * around for 6 petals. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Jacket

  1. With pink yarn, ch 21. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (20 sts)
  2. Row 2-9: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
  3. Turn the jacket sideways. Fold in half and sew the sides leaving space for the sleeves.
  4. Attach dark pink yarn to the bottom edge and sc around the jacket for trim. Fasten off.

Sleeves (Make 2)

  1. With pink yarn, attach to the armhole, and ch 1, sc around the opening.
  2. Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around for 4 rows.
  3. Fasten off, and repeat for the second sleeve.

Leaves and Stems

  1. With green yarn, ch 8. Sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sc in next, hdc in next, dc in next 2, hdc in next, sc in last. Sl st back along other side. Fasten off.
  2. Make two leaves. Attach them to the front of the jacket as shown in the image.
  3. With green yarn, embroider the stems with a simple running stitch.

Finishing Touches

  • Attach flower to the top of the lollipop.
  • Use dark pink yarn to add two small buttons on the front as shown for decoration.
