Amigurumi Soot Sprite with Bow

Materials
- Black yarn (worsted weight)
- White yarn (worsted weight)
- Pink yarn (worsted weight) for the bow
- Green yarn (worsted weight) for the leaf
- Crochet hook size 3.5mm (E)
- Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Gauge
Exact gauge is not critical. Ensure stitches are tight to avoid stuffing show-through.
Abbreviations
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- st – stitch
- inc – increase (2 sc in next sc)
- dec – decrease (sc 2 together)
- sl st – slip stitch
- FO – finish off
Instructions
Sprite Body
- With black yarn, make a magic ring.
- Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
- Rnd 2: inc around. (12)
- Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) around. (18)
- Rnd 4-6: sc in each st around. (18)
- Rnd 7: (sc in next st, dec) around. (12)
- Start stuffing the ball firmly.
- Rnd 8: dec around. (6)
- Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Eyes (Make 2)
- With white yarn, make a magic ring.
- Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
- Sew eyes onto the body.
- Embroider black pupils centered on each eye, using black yarn or embroidery thread.
Bow
- With pink yarn, ch 4.
- Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (3 sc)
- Row 2-3: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (3 sc)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for wrapping the center.
- Fold the strip to form a bow and wrap the center with the tail yarn tightly; sew onto the top of the sprite.
Leaf
- With green yarn, ch 5.
- Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next, dc in next, sl st in last. (Leaf shape)
- Fasten off, and sew the leaf onto the side of the soot sprite.
Finishing
- Ensure all pieces are secured firmly.
- Weave in any remaining ends.
