Crochet Whimsical Pastel Petal Bouquet Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Sport weight cotton yarn (in various pastel colors)
• Crochet hook size 4.0 mm (G/6)
• Green yarn for stems
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Floral wire (optional for added support)

Stitches Used:

• Chain (ch)
• Single crochet (sc)
• Half double crochet (hdc)
• Slip stitch (sl st)
• Double crochet (dc)
• Magical ring (MR)

Flower Petal Pattern:

1. Make a magical ring (MR).
2. Round 1: 10 sc into ring. Pull tight and join with a sl st to the first sc.
3. Round 2: Ch 2, (dc, ch 1, dc) x 10 around, join with sl st to top of ch 2.
4. Round 3: Ch 1, (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-1 space. Join with sl st.
5. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Make petals (5-6) in various colors.

Flower Center:

1. Make a MR.
2. Round 1: 6 sc into ring. Join with sl st.
3. Round 2: Ch 1, (2 sc in each sc) x 6. Join and fasten off with a long tail for sewing.

Leaves:

1. Make 2: Ch 6.
2. Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Continuing on the opposite side, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in last ch. Join and fasten off.

Assembly:

1. Attach the center to a grouping of petals. Sew leaves to the base of each flower.
2. For stems, cut lengths of green yarn and use floral wire for support if desired.
3. Arrange flowers in a vase or pot, and enjoy your lovely pastel bouquet!
