• Worsted weight cotton yarn in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (dark blue), and violet.

Abbreviations:

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• st(s) - stitch(es)
• RS - right side

Instructions:

Note:

The washcloth is worked in rows with color changes at the end of each stripe.

With red yarn:

1. Ch 31.
2. Row 1 (RS): Sc in the second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (30 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn. (30 sc)
4. Repeat Row 2 for a total of 6 rows in red.

Switch to orange yarn:
