Crochet Soft Textured Sky Blue Infinity Cowl Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in sky blue - approximately 200 yards
• Crochet hook size H/5.0 mm
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• CH - Chain
• SC - Single Crochet
• DC - Double Crochet
• HDC - Half Double Crochet
• SL ST - Slip Stitch
• ST - Stitch
• SP - Space

Gauge:

12 DC and 8 rows = 4 inches square

Instructions:

1. CH 120. Join with SL ST to first CH to form a ring, being careful not to twist.
2. Round 1: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch here and throughout), HDC in each CH around. Join with SL ST to first HDC. (120 HDC)
3. Round 2: CH 3 (counts as DC), *DC in next ST, CH 1, skip next ST; repeat from * around, ending with DC in last ST. Join with SL ST to top of CH-3. (60 DC, 60 CH SP)
4. Round 3: CH 1, SC in each DC and CH SP around. Join with SL ST to first SC. (120 SC)
5. Round 4: CH 4 (counts as DC and CH 1), skip next ST, DC in next ST, *CH 1, skip next ST, DC in next ST; repeat from * around. Join with SL ST to third CH of initial CH-4. (60 DC, 60 CH SP)
6. Round 5: Repeat Round 3.
7. Round 6-11: Repeat Rounds 2-5 twice more.
8. Round 12: CH 2, HDC in each ST around. Join with SL ST to first HDC. (120 HDC)

Finishing:

Fasten off and weave in all ends using the tapestry needle. Block gently if desired to open up the pattern for more texture.
