Crochet Adorable Cat Tissue Box Cover Free Pattern

Materials Needed

• Lion Brand Thick and Quick yarn in Cream, Black, and Brown
• Crochet hook size K (6.5 mm)
• Safety eyes (10 mm)
• Yarn needle
• Polyfill stuffing
• Scissors

Pattern

Main Cover

With Cream:

1. Make a magic ring, ch 1, and work 6 sc into the ring. Join with sl st to the first sc. (6 sts)
2. Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join. (12 sts)
3. Ch 1, (sc in next st, 2 sc in next) around. Join. (18 sts)
4. Continue increasing evenly until you cover the top of the tissue box.
5. Once the top is covered, work sc evenly around without increasing until it reaches the desired height to cover the sides of the tissue box.

Ears (Make 1 Black, 1 Brown)

With respective colors:

1. Ch 2, 3 sc in second ch from hook. Turn. (3 sts)
2. Ch 1, 2 sc in each st across. Turn. (6 sts)
3. Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn. (6 sts)
4. Continue working in rows of 6 sts until ears match image shape. Fasten off.

Paws (Make 2)

With Cream:

1. Make a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in the ring. Join. (6 sts)
2. Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around. Join. (12 sts)
3. Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. (12 sts)
4. Continue for 3 more rounds or until desired size. Stuff lightly and sew onto front bottom corners.

Assembly

1. Sew the brown ear on the right and the black ear on the left of the top.
2. Attach safety eyes symmetrically centered below the ears.
3. Embroider a small triangle shape with black yarn for the nose.
4. Stitch whiskers with black yarn on each side of the face.
