Cozy Gray Infinity Scarf Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Yarn: Bulky weight yarn (approximately 250 yards) in a soft gray color.
- Needles: US size 10 (6 mm) circular knitting needles, 24 inches long.
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- Scissors
Gauge:
12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch (make sure to swatch to check your gauge)
Abbreviations:
- CO - Cast On
- K - Knit
- P - Purl
- Rnd - Round
- St(s) - Stitch(es)
- BO - Bind Off
Instructions:
- Begin: CO 100 stitches and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker to mark the beginning of the round.
- Round 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round.
- Round 2: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round.
- Round 3: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of round.
- Round 4: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of round.
- Repeat Rounds 1-4 until scarf measures approximately 12 inches wide or desired width.
- Finishing: BO all stitches loosely. Cut yarn, leaving a 12-inch tail. Use tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Finishing Touches:
Wet block the scarf to even out stitches and enhance texture. Wrap around twice for ultimate coziness.
