Cozy Gray Infinity Scarf Pattern

Materials Needed:

  • Yarn: Bulky weight yarn (approximately 250 yards) in a soft gray color.
  • Needles: US size 10 (6 mm) circular knitting needles, 24 inches long.
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • Scissors

Gauge:

12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch (make sure to swatch to check your gauge)

Abbreviations:

  • CO - Cast On
  • K - Knit
  • P - Purl
  • Rnd - Round
  • St(s) - Stitch(es)
  • BO - Bind Off

Instructions:

  1. Begin: CO 100 stitches and join to work in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker to mark the beginning of the round.
  2. Round 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round.
  3. Round 2: *K2, P2; repeat from * to end of round.
  4. Round 3: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of round.
  5. Round 4: *P2, K2; repeat from * to end of round.
  6. Repeat Rounds 1-4 until scarf measures approximately 12 inches wide or desired width.
  7. Finishing: BO all stitches loosely. Cut yarn, leaving a 12-inch tail. Use tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Finishing Touches:

Wet block the scarf to even out stitches and enhance texture. Wrap around twice for ultimate coziness.
